Coral Reef Resort by Palmera

We stayed in a two-bedroom condo that was absolutely beautiful. Large kitchen and dining area. The master bedroom was quite large and had a really impressive ensuite. Well maintained pool and hot tub. Beautiful surroundings. The only critique I have is the beach access for the resort is about one and a half miles away and if you do not get there early you cannot get a parking space. There is an alternative public beach access about 2 mi away that has plenty of parking.

Coral Reef was an excellent resort for my wife and I. The villa we had was spacious and very accommodating; maybe a tad dated but very well maintained. It was nestled on a wooded golf course with lots of friendly deer. The staff at check in were knowledgeable and helpful when seeking information about the local area, activities for us, and places to dine. Great place to visit.

We stayed in a beautiful two bedroom condo. There was more than enough space for our family. Two things we wish we had known ahead of time: the TVs are not smart TVs, and there were stairs to get into the condo and to get to both of the bedrooms. Great location with plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. Short drive to the beach. All of our interactions with the staff were great!

Nice resort, clean rooms and well maintained inside and out. However the inside of the rental is somewhat dated but clean. Great location. I would be fine with a return stay.

I had a wonderful vacation at the Coral Reef by Palmera, and once again, it is an exceptional place to vacation. I love this place very much and the shipyard beach was very beautiful and coligny beach too. I loved seeing the talented young tennis players at the Vandemer Tennis Academy practicing and becoming great tennis pros. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and I felt love when I was there it was a very good vacation. Thanks for a wonderful time, and I hope to be able to vacation again soon.

The two bedrooms were upstairs. I don't know if there is an option for a bedroom on the first floor, and there are stairs up to the front door. The condo was very spacious with a great layout on the first floor, mostly an open floor plan, but enough separation between the living room, kitchen, and dining room to feel like 3 different rooms. I also liked that in addition to the two full bathrooms upstairs, there is a half bathroom on the lower level. Each rental comes with two parking spaces. Tucked away in a residential area, it is really quiet and peaceful, and Shipyard is full of walkways along lagoons with plenty of wildlife viewing. It is about a mile from the Shipyard private beach access, or you could go to the Coligny public beach access. I recommend renting a bike if you can. The Bank is at the Pope entrance to Shipyard and is an easy bike ride for good food and casual hanging out.

The downside is the downstairs bathroom felt like there was a hole in the floor that was covered by tile. Otherwise it worked perfectly. It was very spacious. Over 1300sq’ I believe. It was furnished well. The colors were “beachy feeling.” It is less than .5 miles from shopping and eatery’s. They have a place called “The Bank” which is a great indoor/outdoor venue. The food was good and service was great! Do not under estimate this space. You would be sorry.

The rooms are great. Large 2 bedrooms 3 bath condominium. The pool is very basic but you can go to the nicer pool at the coral sands. Although the fact they won’t provide you with towels from that resort and they get snooty when asked about them. The service desk people were the only real downfall to the place.
